Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
All the symptoms you have mentioned suggestive minor upper
respiratory tract infection. Most probably it could be a common cold or flu. Cough and running nose is quite common with flu.
you don't need to worry regarding this as it ca be cured completely with timely treatment.
I suggest you to consult a general practitioner and get the following things done:-
(1)- You can take acetaminophen(
paracetamol) for fever and pain.
(2)- A short course of simple antibiotics like
amoxicillin is justifiable to prevent further bacterial infection.
(3)- Expectorant cough syrups can be tried to clear of mucus and secretion.
(4)- Nasal decongestants like
xylometazoline can be used in case of blocked nostrils.
(5)- You can also use antihistamines like levocetrezine which would provide symptomatic relief.
(5)- Do steam inhalation twice a day for twenty minutes each to open up your sinuses.
If symptoms persist despite all these additional investigations like
complete blood count and urine routine may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
